  Objectives: Understand Brief Treatment from a number of theoretical perspectives and treatment approaches.
  Description: Matthew Selekman, M.S.W., "Brief Treatment with Difficult Adolescents." The listener will learn how Mr. Selekman works with difficult, acting-out adolescents in brief treatment, using the solution-focused model. In this model, work often is completed in one session.

Ana Maria Anastasiades, M.D., and Marian Harris, M.S.W., "Brief Group Therapy with Children with Affective Disorders." The listener will learn a method of treating children with affective and anxiety disorders in treatment.
