2. Identify signs and symptoms indicating possible substance use disorder
3. Identify the contributors to elderly substance use disorders and problematic gambling
4. Recognize problematic gambling in the elderly
5. Identify the specific needs of the elderly population to prevent or treat elderly addiction
Description:
The purpose of this course is to examine the prevalence of elderly substance use disorders. This is an often overlooked population by addiction professionals. The general goal of this course is to recognize the impact of addictions in the elderly.
